pothole art
Artists Pete Dungey and Juliana Santacruz Herrera beautify the streets of Europe...
Who would have thought one could make something beautiful out of such an obscure eyesore like a pothole?
I showed these photos to my 6-year-old son and he suddenly wants to fix our broken floor tiles. I can already imagine him patching them up with his Lego bricks...
Credits: This is another one of the many wonderful things I discovered from A Cup of Jo. Yarn art photos are from Herrera's flickr site. And pothole garden photos are from Jo. Lego photo is from thinkhenry.
ONE
POTHOLE
AT
A
TIME.
Herrera patches up cracks on the streets of Paris with braids of colorful yarn. Dungey plants gardens in the potholes on British roads.
