classy cut-outs

I've never really been cut out for cut-outs (pun intended). For me, cut-outs tend to border on tacky. They walk the edge of looking cheap. But BCBG found a way to do it tastefully and elegantly in the Herve Leger Pre-Spring 2011 Collection and the Max Azria Spring 2011 Collection. I love the classic-almost-vintage-looking front which tones down the cut-out surprise at the back: the irony of sexy modesty. Turns out, cut-outs are more cutting-edge than I thought.
